Also downstairs is a comfortable and attractive double bedroom overlooking the garden with a modern four poster bed and fully fitted wardrobes. A utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.  There is also a shower room with wash basin and w.c.

A spacious open plan lounge with patio doors along one side opening on to a balcony with wonderful views over the gardens to the River Tweed.  The sofa can also be used as a double bed.

The double bedroom has garden views and a king size bed and fitted wardrobes.  There is also a pretty twin bedroom with single beds which has a natural stone wall and coombed ceiling.  A luxury bathroom with a large corner bath, washbasin, w.c. and a bidet.

In the beautiful walled garden there are secluded seating areas for catching the sun whilst enjoying that good book or sipping your evening drink watching the sun set over the river.  On the patio there is garden furniture, a parasol and also a barbeque for your al fresco dining.

The Garden

The River

A walk through the grounds leads you down to the banks of the river for either picnicking, walking, fishing or bird-watching.  There are over fifty different varieties of trees in the grounds and we have recorded many different species of birds.  Can you add to our list?  You could try your hand at putting or croquet or just relax and put your feet up!
